The SC Midlands EMS Paramedic Program is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ( upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).


Our Paramedic Program has a 90% or greater first time pass rate, and a greater than 96% overall pass rate since 2003.

As a student at SC Midlands EMS, you’ll enjoy an excellent learning atmosphere and a staff committed to excellence in education.

Registration and orientation will be held on December 13 at 0900 hrs. Students that have been sponsored by services or made payment arrangements will be given initial books. A short session on drug calculation will be held and a homework assignment given for completion prior to January 5.

Class will begin January 5 2022—students should have assignments prior to class.

Background Check information will be provided to students that did not attend registration session.

Drug Testing is required of all students prior to clinical. Information will be provided for all students at registration. 

A copy of High School Diploma, GED or college diploma must be on file with each student prior to starting class. SC graduates will be provided with an order form.

We will need for you to bring for your  file:

· Copy of your current state EMT-B or EMT-Advanced card

· Copy of your current CPR (HCP) card

· Proof of A&P completion

· Copy of HS Diploma, GED or college diploma.

· Drug Test Results if completed

We will provide:

· Detailed instructions regarding vaccinations, titers, SPECIFIC background check and other site-specific requirements.

Health form (including vaccinations) and background check MUST be completed prior to starting clinicals.
