Drug Testing – Nov 28, 9am-5pm, Midlands EMS, West Columbia. NOTICE! BRING ANY PRESCRIPTION BOTTLES OR LABELS WITH YOU AT THE TIME OF TESTING!
ALSO, WorkKeys Testing will be conducted on Nov 28. There are three sessions of 45 min each. We can start a session each hour, so you can complete both on one trip.
Please note that the mandatory orientation for our new EMT-Paramedic students, beginning classes in the spring semester, 2008, will be on December 6 from 1:30 – 6:00 PM in AC 143, Mary Robertson Conference Center, Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College. (Directions below) Please arrange your schedules accordingly.
Background Check Forms now due. Turn in information sheets for processing. If you have turned in your form, go to www.srandi.com and log on as a student. Complete the entry of the required data, but DO NOT pay any fees. MTC will pay via the grant funds.
HOBETs must be completed by Nov 28th! Reading 42, composite 42
COMPASS/ASSET, (COMPASS Reading 40/Pre-Algebra 44, Writing sample 30) or (ASSET Reading 40, Numerical 40, Elementary Algebra 36, Writing sample 30) *3 year limit on assessment tests. -or- Equivalent coursework (Reading 101, Math 101, English 101) These must be completed immediately!
We also must have on file: · Copy of your current state EMT-B or EMT-I card · Copy of your current CPR (HCP) card · Advanced Placement form (MTC) · Health form prior to starting clinicals (completed in prior 6 months). · Proof of A&P completion · Confidentiality statement · HIPPA agreement · ADA agreement
Midlands Tech – I-26 Exit 113, Hwy 302 (Metro Airport exit). From the interstate drive toward the airport, and at the 2nd traffic light turn right (signs say Airport High School, MTC Airport Campus). OBSERVE THE SPEED LIMIT THROUGH THE SCHOOL ZONES. When you arrive at the traffic circle you will see the Academic Center directly across from the circle. Bear right at the first exit off the circle and immediately turn left into the parking lot. |
