Current Course and Exam Calendar May 10, 2012 NOTE: Tuitions may reflect two different fees. The first (lowest) tuition is for students who are members of a service belonging to the SC EMS Association, and the second (highest) tuition is for students sponsored by non-members of the SC EMS Association ($members/non-members).
PreTesting PreTesting is done on registration night, currently Midlands is using the Wonderlic test which takes 12 minutes to complete.
Registration for Certification Courses Students can place their name on your course roster by following these instructions: · Go to http://www.scemsdata.org and at the MIDDLE RIGHT of the page (under the purple Star of Life) lick "'Login to CIS" · Select "Click here for public access site", select “South Carolina”, and click “Enter Public Access Site” · On the left select "Profile" and "Register to Use CIS" · Fill out all information and click "submit". Copy your number, that will always be your SC EMS number. · Select "Education" then select "Scheduled Courses" and use drop-down menus that appear on the right to select type of class (initial or refresher), level (basic, intermediate or paramedic), delivery (always choose classroom), and region (Midlands EMS). Choose “view” for the class you wish to register for, scroll down to roster and select Registration Information and follow prompts. This does not excuse students from the registration session, only gets name on the roster!

EMS Advanced Transition Class This 130 hour course is for existing EMT-Intermediates to bridge to the new Advanced certification level. West Columbia—Registration June 14, 1800 hrs, class June 19-Oct 23rd. $800.00 Class number 1577 Class code YDMGJI

Anatomy and Physiology West Columbia Wednesdays, Sept 19-Nov 14, 9 am-5 pm. Final exam TUESDAY Nov 20, 2012. $350.00 including books.
