 EMS Week Information 

 

The South Carolina EMS PIER Team invites you to the 2012 EMS Week Celebration to honor those who unselfishly dedicate their lives to care for the sick and injured. We will kick off the celebration with a parade of EMS vehicles down Old State Road. The procession will follow a path that leads to the South Carolina EMS Memorial in Sandy Run, SC. The staging area will be located off Exit 119 onto Old State Rd at the intersection of 15^th St near the Eastman Plant. Once we reach the Memorial, we will gather to honor the many EMS providers that make up the great system of pre-hospital care provided to the citizens and visitors of South Carolina.  We will also spend time in remembrance of our fellow EMS brothers and sisters who have passed into eternity in the last year.

 

Immediately following the festivities, a luncheon will be provided to the attendees at no cost.  Please make plans to join us for a terrific meal and camaraderie with others within the EMS profession. This is the EMS PIER Team’s way of saying Thank You for your hard work and dedication.

Note to EMT-Basic Candidates:  Candidates must pre-register, and MUST BE PREPAID ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE!     FORMS MUST BE IN THE OFFICE BY 5 PM, THE FIRST TUESDAY (ON WEEK PRIOR TO THE EXAM). POSTMARKED DOES NOT MATTER, THE ROSTER GOES TO DHEC TUESDAY AFTER 5PM.
